We’ve mentioned it before but in case you missed it, the Somalia born (canadian) MC K’naan is back in effect with his 2nd album. This new track and video, The Great Depression, rings timely and true with a futuristic beat that reminds us of HAL and the music from the movie 2001….eerie and off kilter machines…. and the lyrics paint a picture of global problems that unify us. The video is not as cohesive but we love the washed out look and the imagery of a global political and economic crises stretching from Washington to the Serengeti
WHAT DO YOU THINK? feelin it?
